Julia founded NEDness in 2026. She continues to serve on boards while leading the business, and is accountable for innovation across strategy, technology and data.
Julia has served as a non-executive director since 2012. She is an independent non-executive director of Standard Bank Offshore Group, where she chairs the Board IT Committee and is a voting member of the Board Risk and Capital Management Committee and the Board Audit Committee. She is also an independent non-executive director of Standard Bank Jersey, which is regulated by the Jersey Financial Services Commission. She advises the Investment Committee of St Hilda's College, Oxford. In London, she advises Boutique Capital Partners. She served as Vice Chair and then Acting Chair of Brighter Futures, a Jersey charity, taking it through registration with the Jersey Charity Commissioner.
Julia began her career in investment banking with Citibank, Deutsche Bank and Goldman Sachs, working across London, Hong Kong, Singapore and New York. She then spent a period in luxury branding in Italy before co-founding Affinity Private Wealth, a regulated private-client wealth management business, where she was an executive director from 2011 to 2023.
Julia holds an MA from the University of Oxford and qualifications in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity from Saïd Business School. She is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and is bilingual in English and Italian. In 2022, she was named IoD Jersey Director of the Year for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
Outside work, Julia is endeavouring to improve her padel, gardening with an audiobook for company and cooking for friends, ideally with a smooth Italian red open.
