Andy LeGresley took this photograph on a warm summer evening in Jersey and did a great job capturing us (helped by flattering light!). We are four individuals with multi-decade careers on boards and in business, and the scars to prove it. Whilst the idea was Julia's - governance has plenty of rules and remarkably little freely accessible help - the others listened, recognised the gap, and gave their time and skills on the strength of a conversation. That is how NEDness started, but what it becomes depends on the people who take part: our community.
